Frances “Rosella” Marie Page, age 79, resident of Towanda, KS. Died Thursday April 12th, 2018, at her home. She was born June 10, 1938, in East St. Louis, Illinois, the daughter of William Taft Tucker & Alma Frances Fletcher. Rosella married young and dedicated her life to being in the home and raising her 6 children. After the passing of her first husband, she then married Orville (Bill) Leroy Page and spent a happy life combining a family to make their own. She enjoyed gardening and loved growing flowers of all kinds but especially the roses that were her favorite. She loved cooking for big crowds and family gatherings. She would spend all the time she could with a fishing pole in her hand and eating the rewards of her day. She lived her life in Illinois, Missouri, Tennessee and Kansas touching people’s lives everywhere she went. Her smile was priceless and she was very active in the life of the church. “To live in the hearts of those you love is never to die”.

Survivors include: 2 sons, Jess & Carla Cooper of Holden, MO and their 4 children (Jason & Tina Cooper of Windsor, MO, Christy Cooper of Holden, MO, Michael Cooper of Wellington, KS, and Melissa Cooper & Troy Kelly of Aullville, MO, with a total of 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild), Richard & Jolene Page of Fort Scott, KS, and her 7 daughters, Edna Moore & Jerry Miller of Kansas City, MO and her 3 children (Kathryn Moore & T of Kansas City MO, Sherri & Roger Dunn of Lowden, IA, and Jessica Moore of Kansas City, MO, with a total of 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild), Roveta & Earnest King of Eucha, OK, with their 4 children (Earnest Jr & Amber King of Eucha, OK, Tisha King & Justin Spence of Eucha, OK, Sherman King of Springdale, AR, Amber & John Brantley of Eucha, OK, with a total of 11 grandchildren, Lila & Paul Risley of Towanda, KS, her 4 children (Jess & Jeanette Page of Wichita, KS, Kevin & Tonya Page of Orange Grove, TX, Travis & April Page of Wichita, KS, Laura & Joseph Moore of Wichita, KS, with a total of 3 grandkids) Juanita Page of Blue Springs, MO, her 3 children ( Austin & Chelsea Page of Pleasanton, KS, Danelle Joines of Blue Springs, MO, Madelyn Graham of Redfield, KS, with a total of 4 grandkids) Debra & Roger Raines of Buffalo, TX, (Marcus Raines of Buffalo, TX) Kathy & Bob King of Eucha, OK, their 2 children( Crystal & Bruce Summerfield of Eucha,OK, Heath King of Eucha, OK, with a total of 9 grandkids) Thelma Page of Fort Scott, KS, her 3 children (Kevin & Tilly Richwine of Fort Scott, KS, Jessica & Joseph Joyce of Fort Scott, Ks, Christina Richwine & Kenny Striegel of Fort Scott, KS, Jacob & Nancy Linnenbrink of Fort Scott, KS. with a total of 10 grandkids).

She was proceeded in death by her father & mother, first husband, Jess Cooper, second husband Orville Page, her sons: Donald Cooper of Kansas City, MO, who had 2 children Susan & John Spick of Cameron, MO, with 3 children, Ronald Cooper of Liberty, MO, Danny Page who was married to Cindy Thurston Page of Fort Scott, KS, Donald Page who was married Vickie Page of Iola, KS, and daughter Shirley Hull who was married to Earl Hull of Fort Scott, KS, who had 3 children (Doug Kelsey Jr. of Fort Scott, KS, Joseph Page of Fort Scott, KS, and Curtis & Kara Page with a total of 6 grandkids). Total families combined, Rosella had 13 children, 29 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren

Pastor Matthew Hamilton will conduct funeral services at 1:00 PM Friday, April 20th, at the Cheney Witt Chapel. Private burial will take place in Hepler Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Rosella Page Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the Cheney Witt Chapel, PO Box 347, 201 S. Main St., Ft. Scott, KS 66701.
