Pauline Louise Lyman, age 86, a resident of Bronson, Kansas, died Friday, August 10th at the Allen County Hospital in Iola, Kansas. She was born March 17, 1926, in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Albin Johnson and Kathrine Hardy Johnson. She married George Everett Lyman on January 12, 1946. He preceded her in death on June 27, 1999. She attended the First Missionary Baptist Church in Uniontown.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathleen Vallely and husband, Robert, of Bronson; two sons, Neil Lyman and wife, Charmaine, Templeton, California and Paul Lyman and wife, Diane, Los Osos, California. Also surviving are a sister, Elinor Lynn Folk, Nashville, Tennessee; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

There was cremation. A private service will be held in Los Osos, California. Local services are under the direction of the Cheney Witt Bronson Chapel, 501 Pine, Bronson, Kansas.
