Michael Charles Allen, age 45, resident of 415 S. Wilson, Fort Scott, died Saturday, April 3, 2010, at his home. He was born January 4, 1965 in Fort Scott, the son of Elbert Charles Allen and Jennie M. Cameron Allen. He worked for Superior Industries, Peerless Products, and Hammond Seed and Elevator.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Edward Allen, Fort Scott, and Devon Cameron Allen, Wichita, Kansas, one daughter, Jennifer Marie Allen, Fort Scott, his mother, Jennifer Allen, and one sister, Abbie J. Atkisson and husband Tim, Fulton, Kansas. Also surviving is one grandchild, Chase Alexander Hyer. He was preceded in death by his father.

There was cremation. A memorial service for Michael Allen will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 10, in the Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S. Main, Fort Scott. Words of remembrance may be submitted to the online guestbook at cheneywitt.com.
